Our Supplier Network
Wizaller Farm & Sawmill
South Hams, South Devon, UK (rural estate)
Hand‑crafted chopping boards & charcuterie boards – standard sizes and fully bespoke pieces
Run by my very patient better half, Mark; a master craftsman who still holds a full‑time job while his side‑venture supplies us with beautiful timber work. Mark sources his wood locally from farmer friends (often as a favor in exchange for the timber) and only fells trees that are dead, diseased, or part of an agricultural hedgerow‑management scheme. He also tends a small plot of land in the South Hams where he grows much of the fruit and veg we use at home and sells a proportion of it to our local green-grocer. With a background as a joiner, boat‑builder and farmer, Mark brings decades of craft knowledge to every board.
Why we love them
- True British craftsmanship: Each board is shaped and finished by a seasoned joiner/boat‑builder, giving Mary Mint’s kitchen range an heirloom‑quality feel.
- Ethical timber sourcing: By only using trees that are already slated for removal, the process has a net‑positive impact on local ecosystems and hedgerow health.
- Local food loop: Mark’s own fruit‑and‑veg plot supplies us and the local grocer with fresh produce, reinforcing the farm‑to‑table connection at the heart of our brand.
- Bespoke flexibility: Customers can request custom dimensions, wood species, or finishes, making every piece uniquely theirs.
Hog and Tallow
Falmouth, Cornwall
The very lovely Emma supplies us with small‑batch tallow soaps, natural skincare & hand‑made candles
Since 2016 Emma has been turning West‑Country grass‑fed tallow into pure, minimalist products. Tallow is blended with locally‑sourced waste streams (beeswax, spent beer, charcoal fines) and foraged botanicals from her beautiful, wild garden. I love how carefully she chooses beef fat (she has all her suppliers listed on her website, see below) and slowly renders it herself in her cozy, country kitchen.
Why we love them
- Pure, simple formulas – only tallow, high‑quality cold‑pressed British rapeseed oil, essential oils, and home‑grown botanicals.
- Local & low‑impact – all ingredients are sourced within the West Country; waste from nearby artisans (beer, charcoal, beeswax) is up‑cycled into the final product.
- Transparency – Emma provides full traceability from farm to jar, and the packaging is fully recyclable or reusable.

Eat Telfit
1,000‑acre hill farm – Yorkshire Dales, UK
Premium regeneratively farmed beef tallow & pork lard
Telfit Farm is a stunning family‑run regenerative farm that blends ancient, low‑input practices with modern science. The land supports high biodiversity (curlews, partridges, cuckoos, etc.), and every animal is reared on diverse, woodland‑based pastures.
Why we love them
- Nutrient‑dense fats: Beef tallow is rich in omega‑3s, CLA, beta‑carotene, and has a high smoke point; pork lard is gently rendered, preserving flavor and elevated omega‑3 levels from woodland‑reared pigs. No hormones or anti-biotics are used.
- Full‑circle ethos: Every part of the animal is used, so nothing goes to waste—a core pillar of our own sustainability mission.
- Biodiversity champion: Their 1,000‑acre estate is a living habitat for rare birds and wild flora, proving that productive farming can coexist with thriving ecosystems.

Fierce Nature
Bedfordshire, United Kingdom (hand‑crafted in‑house)
Non‑toxic, tallow‑based skincare (soaps, balms, make-up and dry shampoos)
Founded by Catherine Farrant, who grew up in South Africa battling harsh chemical cosmetics. After a decade of research into gut health and toxic load, she created a line of 100 % handmade, UK‑produced skincare that uses organic beef tallow as the nourishing base. The brand has been featured in Vogue, Men’s Health and Stylist magazines.
Why we love them
- Skin‑science & heritage: Tallow’s fatty‑acid profile mirrors human skin, delivering deep, bio‑available moisturisation that ordinary cosmetics can’t match.
- Clean, transparent formulation: Every ingredient is listed, sourced naturally, and the products are free from the “seductive packaging” lies of mainstream beauty.
- Ethical & local: Handmade in the UK with organic tallow and responsibly sourced botanicals, the line aligns perfectly with Mary Mint’s commitment to ethical, low‑impact sourcing.

How We Choose Suppliers
Our vetting process is thorough and proudly British‑focused.
We spend hours researching and if necessary, contact each supplier directly to confirm where ingredients or materials originate. All of the food we stock comes straight from the farms where the animals are raised, and every homeware and apparel piece is designed in the UK. While we don’t manufacture the items ourselves, we deliberately choose products that are produced in Britain—or as close to home as possible—so we can offer beautiful, high‑quality, locally‑sourced goods to our customers.
